Joy Beller ’s formal art education includes a BA in Art from Northeastern University and an MA from the University of Tulsa. She taught Art in Tulsa Public Schools for many years and since retirement has devoted her energy to fine arts painting as a profession. Her work can be found in collections throughout the US and Europe.

Joy is also very active in the Tulsa's arts community as a member of Tulsa Art Works at www.TulsaArtWorks.com and the Tulsa Artists Guild.

	Joy creates two-dimensional nonobjective and abstract images that include painted hand-woven paper and mixed media collages using beads, threads and feathers. She enjoys experimenting with various materials, opening herself up to any elements that become an inspiration.
